API Backend Based Unified BI Server for Multiple OT Servers

I made a post couple days back on a solution I recently implemented where I integrated data from 8 different OSIsoft PI/AF servers into a single Power BI report. Although I implemented that solution using OLEDB Provider/Enterprise via PI SQL DAS server, same solution can be implemented using existing PI Vision Application server via PI Web API. Here is the architecture of such solution. Posting this to reiterate the power of developer technologies. The best part of this architecture? This is a RESTful interface to the PI system that’s stateless and platform independent. Meaning? Your reporting/dashboard server can be a Linux/macOS server. It can even be a tiny Raspberry Pi based node! Imagine the possibilities!
